As a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business, Heritage Health Solutions appreciates the efforts of our service members, because we know it takes a special individual to dedicate his or her life to the service of others. We value their technical skills, as well as their dedication, discipline, leadership skills and military training. We believe that the experiences and expertise gained in the military are particularly valuable at Heritage so we actively seek veteran candidates who are looking to apply their training from the military to a corporate healthcare administration setting. At the present time we are proud to say that over twenty three percent (23%) of our workforce is comprised of veterans of the U.S. Armed Services.

We also appreciate the sacrifices made by our employees who currently serve in the Reserves and National Guard and support those who are called to active duty by paying the difference between military pay and Heritage pay for up to eighteen months while the employee is on active military duty. We also pay the difference between military pay and Heritage pay for any annual training time the employee may have during the year, and employees are not required to use Paid Time Off for their annual training.

Over the course of the next several months we anticipate increasing our workforce in many areas, at all levels, by twenty eight percent (28%). We are partnering with the Texas Veterans Commission and other local agencies, and it is our hope that many of these positions will be filled by individuals in the following categories:

  • Veterans, including those with service-connected disabilities
  • Separating active duty service members
  • National Guard Service members
  • Reservists
  • Military spouses
