Heritage Health Solutions, Inc. Presents Scholarship to Texas Woman’s University Doctoral Student

Texas Woman’s University’s doctoral student, Emily Zumbro, was awarded the Heritage Health Solutions, Inc. Scholarship in Kinesiology. The scholarship is a $5000 award presented to a Texas Woman’s University student pursing a doctor of philosophy degree in kinesiology by Heritage Health Solutions. Miss Zumbro is studying exercise physiology.

“Heritage Health Solutions is honored to have the opportunity to award this scholarship. Emily is a very worthy recipient. We wish her continued academic success as she pursues her degree,” said Tonya Clark, Chief Executive Officer of Heritage Health Solutions, Inc.

The first Heritage Health Solutions, Inc. Scholarship in Kinesiology was awarded to Texas Woman’s University kinesiology graduate student Nick Levine in 2016. The criteria to receive the scholarship requires that recipients pursue a post-graduate degree in kinesiology from Texas Woman’s University, demonstrate leadership, show a commitment to the adapted sports profession, and demonstrate academic excellence by maintaining a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.5. A committee of professors at the university vote on the winning recipient. Financial need is a consideration but is not required to be shown to receive the scholarship.

The scholarship presentation was held on Wednesday, April 25 at the Annual Department of Kinesiology Award Celebration, located in Texas Woman’s University’s Pioneer Hall.
