- Provider network services, management, and development; Through the use of sophisticated diagnostic equipment and secure communications links, providers can do everything from monitoring blood pressure to taking an EKG, allowing them to develop diagnoses and treatment protocols on the spot. This approach provides quality care in a convenient manner by eliminating much of the need for travel, and it is more cost efficient than the traditional approach of healthcare. 
Pharmacy (First / Emergent Fill)
Heritage offers pharmacy services for first and emergent prescriptions for veterans obtaining care at Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs), Emergency Rooms (ER), and acute care clinics. We have nationwide and territory coverage, superb discounts, and superior customer service. We recognize and understand Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) requirements for both cost savings and veteran access to pharmacies. Our pharmacies are located within five miles of a CBOC or Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC), usually much closer. Generic medications are used when available at all times for both first and emergent fills; we work in harmony with the VA to meet its requirements, such as days supply, refills, or no refills. Additionally, our pharmacies are open on weekends and evenings to better support the needs of veterans. We also provide after-hour and weekend coverage for VAMC ERs and provide pharmacy services to Veterans Homes (including those requiring unit does dispensing that meets Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) Standards). Heritage brings a comprehensive, total value solution to each VAMC/VISN.
Teleradiology
Where federal agencies have a requirement to outsource radiology interpretations and support transcription and data/image storage, Heritage has the solution. We have a team of board-certified radiologists who have broad-based experience in all modalities of radiology with many possessing numerous sub-specialty certifications as well. To each contract and client, Heritage brings this superior level of expertise and knowledge of all requirements associated with off-site radiological readings.
Managed Care – Care Management

Telemedicine
In settings such as correctional facilities, basic medical clinics in rural or remote areas, nursing homes, or a veterans center where on-site access to adequate comprehensive health care is limited, Heritage provides a quality solution via telemedicine. Heritage medical staff are available to provide real-time care to patients who require diagnostic services and treatment. Patient access to a provider can be as simple as a telephone call or via a more sophisticated means such as video conferencing that provides for interactive examination and determination of treatment.
